Chai porridge from 1001 nights

Schoko Chai Porridge Rezept

Sunday is Mother's Day! A day when you want to show your mama how much you love her. You don't need an expensive gift for that. Love, as we all know, goes through the stomach. So this year, how about bringing your mum a magically topped Porridge Bowl to bed for breakfast?

How about this fabulous chocolate chai porridge from blogger Yonca? One spoon tastes like the Arabian Nights. It'll make your mama's day!

The Recipe

Portion: One Bowl                   Time:  approx. 10 min.

You need: 

  • 50g 3Bears cinnamon apple
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 125 ml Chocolate Chai Tea
  • 150 ml almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar substitute

That´s how it works: 

  1. Put porridge, cocoa and sugar substitute in a pot and mix everything.
  2. Now add the brewed chocolate chai tea.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium to high heat while stirring constantly.
  4. Now add the milk and boil the porridge again.
  5. Take the pot off the stove when the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Then you can portion the porridge into a nice bowl and top it as you like.
