The summer holiday weeks are slowly but surely coming to an end and everyday life is starting again. Whether it's everyday work or the new semester - we all have more to do and less time to cook or enjoy a delicious breakfast. What our guest blogger Bika is always happy about in such situations is inspiration for a quick, healthy breakfast that is best enjoyed on the road. That's the kind of inspiration she wants to give you today with her green breakfast smoothie. The oat flakes and dates it contains will fill you up and give you energy for the day.
Preparation time: 15 min.
1 banana
50g TK Leaf spinach
2 TABLESPOONS 3Bears Porridge Pithy Classic
3 dates
1/2 pineapple
2 tablespoons of water
You don't have much time in the morning? Then I have a tip for you: Since the smoothie tastes best cold anyway, prepare it in the evening, put it in the fridge overnight and take it to work in the morning. On weekends or when you have more time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the morning, you can also make the smoothie into a smoothie bowl like I did here and decorate it with some extra oatmeal, chopped nuts, chia seeds and fruits. And if you've bought too much fruit and don't know when to make your next smoothie, why not cut them all into pieces and freeze them. That way, the next smoothie will go even faster and won't have to go to the fridge overnight.
Starting the day with the same smoothie over and over again gets boring, so I have some alternative fruit tips for you. For example, how about a mango instead of half a pineapple? Or with some extra berries? Of course you can leave out the spinach and replace it with some kiwis instead. You can also add powders like Matcha or Açai. There are so many ways to get creative and I hope I could inspire you with this recipe.
