We'll show you that Easter can be different. That's why we have a vegan Easter bowl recipe for you that you can feast on with a clear conscience. The yellow colour of this bowl comes from the turmeric, the hype surrounding this superfood is real and rightly so. Turmeric, also often called magic tuber, has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. The ingredient Curcumin is responsible for the healing effect. The combination with our poppy banana porridge is really good. Nutritious and delicious all in one bowl!
Ingredients
Porridge:
50g 3Bears Poppy Banana Porridge
150ml Plant Drink
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
A Small Piece of Fresh Ginger
Toppings:
A handful of Blueberries
2 tsp Cashew Butter
1 tbsp Pecans
1 tbsp Coconut Flakes
Chocolate Eggs
Preparation
Put the porridge and plant drink in a pot. Peel the ginger, grate it finely and add it to the pot. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Mix the turmeric powder with 1-2 teaspoons of plant drink and stir into the porridge. Now put it in a nice bowl and serve with toppings as desired!
