We can't get enough of berries this summer. The small fruits are also damn tasty and packed with valuable vitamins and nutrients. With our Wild Bowls Fine Berry Porridge you can prepare a particularly colourful version of the trendy breakfast: overnight oats! The berries in the porridge mixture give your overnight oats a beautiful pink colour and give you a good start to the day with the perfect mix of sweet and sour. As long as the strawberry season lasts, strawberries should of course not be missing. On top there is a sweet strawberry sauce made from fresh strawberries. Not sweet enough? Then you can take your overnight oats to the next level with some chocolate. Simply melt 2-3 small pieces of vegan dark chocolate and pour over the cold overnight oats – so good!
Ingredients
For 2 servings:
100g 3Bears Wild Bowls Porridge Fine Berry
200ml coconut drink
250g fresh strawberries
1 pinch of ground tonka bean
40g vegan dark chocolate (optional)
Preparation
For the overnight oats, mix the fine berry porridge with the coconut drink well and place in the refrigerator for approx. 6 hours (or overnight).
After the oat flakes for the overnight oats have completely swollen, divide the overnight oats into 2 glasses or bowls.
For the strawberry sauce, wash the strawberries, remove the green from the strawberries and puree the fruit finely. Your strawberry sauce will be extra tasty with a pinch of ground tonka beans.
Now spread the strawberry sauce on the overnight oats. Craving chocolate? Simply melt some chocolate in a water bath and spread over the overnight oats with strawberries.
