Dear porridge friends,
Finally the time has come: fine cocoa is here! With deliciously crunchy cocoa nibs and the natural sweetness of dried dates, the new variety tastes wonderfully sweet and creamy. And of course our co-founder Caroline created a fabulous recipe to go with it. As always, no added sugar and still so chocolatey sweet!
Ingredients
For the porridge
- 100g 3Bears Porridge Fine Cocoa
- 300ml whole milk
- 1/2 tsp orange peel
- The pulp of half a vanilla pod
For the topping
- 1/2 orange
- 4 tbsp low-fat quark
- 1 tsp agave syrup
For decoration
- 1/2 tsp orange peel
- 1 tsp cocoa nibs
Preparation
- Mix the 3Bears Porridge mixture with the milk, orange peel and vanilla pulp in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir until the porridge thickens.
- Divide the warm porridge between 2 bowls.
- Peel the orange. Squeeze juice out of one orange half and set aside. Cut small cubes from the other orange half and set about 1/3 of it aside.
- Mix the orange juice, 2/3 of the orange pieces, the low-fat quark and the agave syrup into a cream and pour it into a nice container.
- Garnish the 2 bowls of porridge with the remaining orange pieces, the orange peel and the cocoa nibs and serve together with the orange curd.
Tip: For even more kick, you can replace the vanilla with some chilli flakes!

Ab wann gibt es die neue Sorte mit Kakao bei HSE

Super, habe schon auf den Porridge Feiner Kakao gewartet, nachdem er angekündigt wurde. Gleich heute Morgen bestellt., die Lieferung ging auch gleich raus und soll morgen da sein :) Das Rezept liest sich auch sehr gut, werde es gleich ausprobieren.
